Winter
Weather Poses No Problem |
|
Sunkist,
and Anderby generally survived the high winds on Sunday 27th
October with no damage, all roof
vents staying aloft and intact. As these pictures of the beach
suggest, an exhilarating time was had by all, the departure
of remaining residents from that day‚s coffee morning being
particularly adventurous. |

Last
Years Closure |

| FOR
THE SECOND YEAR Sunkist owes a really BIG THANKYOU to nearly
all of our residents who put so much effort into this year‚s
closure. Particular thanks are due to the older and less able
of our clients who, in spite of infirmity, nevertheless did
a sterling job. This year‚s winner of a hamper of chocolate
are Messers Cotton and Billson, and the recipients of boxed
chocolates will be newcomers Mr/Mrs Froggett and Mr/Mrs Greatbatch,
and then Mr John Beresford, Mr/Mrs Cowie, the one and only George
and Edith, Mrs Taylor, and finally Mr/Mrs S J Patterson. Our
thanks again to all residents for their fine effort! |
