and conditions
PETS
There is no charge for pets. There must be no more
than three pets per accommodation.
Sunkist C P reserves the right to invoice client(s)
for the repair of any damage, and any additional cleaning, arising
from the maintenance of their pets in accommodation. Please ensure
your pet(s) are clean, are well groomed, and are free of parasites,
before entering your accommodation.
The following requirements apply to all persons
resident on Sunkist C P, including owner-occupiers and proprietors:
Client(s) are advised that fouling by pets on Sunkist is strictly
prohibited – any accidental deposit should be cleared away
immediately and hygienically. Clients are advised that all pets
MUST be tethered at all times when outside their accommodation,
when present on Sunkist C P. Clients infringing these requirements
will be requested to depart. Sunkist Caravan Park reserves the right
to inspect premises occupied by pet-owning clients before clients
depart, on day of departure. All other regulations concerning pet-ownership
on Sunkist C P apply (copies available on request).
AGE LIMITS
Groups of people below the age of 21 and single
sex parties under the age of 30 will not be accepted.
OTHER CONDITIONS
Sunkist Caravan Park reserves the right to refuse
any application for accommodation, without citing reasons, regardless
of availability.
ONLY PEOPLE NAMED IN THE BOOKING FORM WILL BE ALLOWED
TO STAY IN THE ACCOMMODATION; ANY ALTERATIONS MUST BE NOTIFIED,
AND AGREED IN WRITING BY SUNKIST C.P..
DUVETS ON BEDS IN USE MUST BE COVERED.
PARK REGULATIONS MUST BE OBSERVED AT ALL TIMES (COPIES
AVAILABLE ON REQUEST!) – PARENTS ARE ADVISED THAT GAMES USING
BALLS OR FRISBEES“ ON SUNKIST CARAVAN PARK ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED,
EXCEPT FOR GAMES WITH BALLS ATTACHED TO FIXED POLES WITH STRING
(SWINGBALL).
DAMAGE TO ACCOMMODATION MUST BE ADVISED TO SUNKIST
C. P. BEFORE DEPARTURE AT THE END OF THE HOLIDAY PERIOD. SUNKIST
C. P. RESERVES THE RIGHT TO AGREE WITH CLIENTS, CHARGES FOR DAMAGE/BREAKAGES
TO ACCOMMODATION AND/OR EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED.
ALL CLIENTS MUST KEEP NOISE TO A LEVEL TOLERABLE
BY NEIGHBOURS AT ALL TIMES.
CONDITON AND SAFETY OF
ACCOMMODATION
All caravans are CORGI-tested for gas safety and
passed for safe usage annually. All caravans are equipped with a
battery-powered carbon monoxide detector in the lounge. The water
heaters in all caravans have built-in carbon monoxide detectors
which reduce and then cut off gas supply when carbon monoxide is
detected. The electrical circuitry in all caravans is tested by
an NICEIC-registered electrician annually. All electrical appliances
provided are tested by an NICEIC-registered electrician annually.
Each unit is cleaned on the morning of your arrival.
While every effort is made to ensure a pristine cleanliness in each
case, all clients should alert the park reception if he/she feels
that Sunkist C P has not attained this standard of cleanliness.
NUMBERS ACCOMMODATED
IN EACH UNIT
Berths are as follows: Sahara & Sovereign up to six persons; Albany caravan – up to four persons plus two additional persons subject to supplementary tariff as detailed; Mirage – up to four persons maximum. Where five or six persons use a two-bedroomed unit – fifth and sixth persons must not sleep on the seating! Only the persons detailed on the booking form will be allowed to use the accommodation reserved. Any alterations must be notified and agreed in writing by Sunkist Caravan Park.
APPLICATIONS FOR
ACCOMMODATION
Your holiday will only be booked if it is still
available on receipt of booking form and deposit. Your deposit will
be returned in the event of unavailability. Sunkist reserves the
right to offer alternatives after initial reservation, subject to
prior notice in writing, and the option of a full refund of all
sums paid if cancellation is preferred by the client. Sunkist Caravan
Park reserves the right to refuse any application for accommodation,
without citing reasons, regardless of availability.
REFUNDS FOR CANCELLED
RESERVATIONS & INSURANCE
SUNKIST C.P. REGRETS THAT PAYMENTS CAN ONLY BE
REIMBURSED FOR CANCELLATION IF ANOTHER CLIENT ‘TAKES UP’
THE RESERVATION. IN ORDER TO ENSURE REIMBURSEMENT IN THE EVENT OF
ANY INCAPACITY, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT ALL CLIENTS PURCHASE A HOLIDAY
INSURANCE POLICY WHICH CAN BE OBTAINED FROM ANY REPUTABLE INSURANCE
BROKER. A LEAFLET OFFERING THIS SERVICE FROM AN ORIGINAL SUPPLIER
WILL BE FORWARDED WITH OUR CONFIRMATION OF ANY RESERVATION YOU MIGHT
MAKE. EXPERIENCE SHOWS THAT CANCELLED BOOKINGS ARE HIGHLY LIKELY
TO BE RE-BOOKED IN THE SUMMER, (SO ENABLING SUNKIST C.P. TO RETURN
PAYMENTS), WHEREAS IN THE SPRING AND AUTUMN THERE IS A LOW PROBABILITY
OF TAKE-UP.
Duvets on beds in use must be covered, and parents
are requested to bring rubber or waterproof sheets for young children.
Bed linen is available for hire, as detailed in the booking form.
If linen has not been reserved: for each bed in use – one bottom
sheet, one duvet cover, and two pillow cases per person.
All accommodation is fully equipped, but you will
need to bring the following with you: towels, tea towels & toilet
paper.
ARRIVALS
AND FACILITIES AT SUNKIST AND IN ANDERBY CREEK
We strongly advise that each party has a vehicle, (preferably no
larger than an estate), as public transport is very poor. THE FACILITIES
AVAILABLE IN ANDERBY CREEK ARE ONLY: A SMALL OFF LICENCE AND GROCERS,
A LICENSED CAFÉ AND NEWSAGENTS, A PUBLIC TELEPHONE, A PUBLIC
HOUSE WITH FAMILY ROOM, AND A LAUNDRETTE. SUNKIST CARAVAN PARK HAS
A CHILDREN’S SAND PIT AND A CHILDREN’S HARD-SURFACE FOOTBALL
AND NETBALL AREA (CLOSED AT CERTAIN TIMES), BUT NO LICENSED PREMISES.
ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOMMODATION CANNOT BE MADE PRIOR TO 1:00 pm ON
DAY OF ARRIVAL, AS YOUR ACCOMMODATION NEEDS TO BE CLEANED FOR YOU!
Please advise if you intend to arrive at any time before 9am or
after 5pm on the day of arrival. A call-out fee of £5.88 inc.
VAT is chargeable for liaison with arrivals before 9am, and after
9pm.THE
FOLLOWING ITEMS MUST BE
VETTED
CHIP PANS: Pans used for chips must be heated electrically:
that is, they must not be designed for use on a gas or electric
hob. Electric chip pans must be equipped with a working thermostatic
cut-out, and should not be more than three years old.
BARBECUES: Used barbecues, particularly disposable
barbecues, must NEVER be placed beneath a caravan.
LECTRIC BLANKETS: Electric blankets must not be
more than four years old, and must be correctly and safely plugged.
LOST PROPERTY
Lost/left property will be retained for no more
than fourteen days after departure of client. No contact will be
made with client regarding his/her lost or left property. Client
is responsible for advising Sunkist C P that he/she has lost and/or
left property belonging to him/her. Client must pay packing and
delivery charges before lost/left property will be returned. If
client has not laid claim to his/her property within fourteen days
of departure, property will be disposed of for charitable purposes,
or thrown away, depending on state and condition of property.
